I would like to install my canon lbp2900 laser printer in my Ubuntu system.
I am very newbie with Ubuntu. Please help.
install wine 1.0 and see if it works. so far with wine i've had the programs install that were designed for windows. or click on printer in the options drop down. good luck with ubuntu, i'm totally addicted to it, if i could find a way to get my tv card to work i'd get rid of windows

What driver did you use and what version of Ubuntu? I have tried for weeks to get V1.80 drivers to work on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid without success.
